How to Deal with Work Overwhelm

“How can I make this easier?”

This is something I ask myself on a daily basis because I am REALLY great at making things a lot more complicated than they need to be.⁠
Can you relate? Whether it’s in business or in our everyday lives, it’s so easy to make things difficult when they don’t need to be, and we can waste soo much time, energy, and money, on things that just don’t need to be that hard.⁠⠀
Running a business is challenging, and as an entrepreneur you have to take on so many different roles (at least in the beginning) and learn so many new skills, and it’s so easy to get bogged down by all of the details and blow everything out of proportion.⁠⠀
I can’t even count the number of times I’ve had to learn something new for my business, and I read all of the articles, took all of the webinars, and signed up for all of the courses before I could accept that there are just a few simple steps to take to complete the task.⁠⠀
I’ll be so convinced that it has to be complex and there must be some secret to making it perfect that I ignore all of the simple, basic information right in front of me.⁠⠀
So I constantly bring it back to the basics and ask myself “How can I make this easier?” 9 times out of 10, things just aren’t that complicated, and rather than putting your faith in finding the perfect solution from a blog post or expert, you just need to put a little more faith in yourself and trust that you have everything you need to make this happen.
